Homework 2 9/9/13

Write about a literacy learning experience you had

The word literacy can be mainly divide into two parts: proficiency of reading and proficiency of writing.

For reading:

I never really learned how to master the literacy in Chinese, though I read a lot of masterpieces of novel since primary school but never felt that my literacy needs have outstripped my literacy abilities. There may be some new words but the those do not obstruct me from understanding the author’s thinking from the author’s cuing.

Facing to English, the strategy of reading I am using now is to skim and I can get control on the main idea of an article with a relatively medium speed.

For writing:

I won a reward of a composition in Nanjing in my tenth grade (although only the third prize), I think the most important thing in writing is still the thought that author possesses to resonate with readers but not the literacy.

Writing essays in English with literacy in American perspective will be hard but worth challenging in this year.
